Nikkalite® Flexible Crystal Grade specially selected for VAG Financial Services Skoda Scout Ambulance
PVL & Halls Electrical Ltd
With the need to stand out from the crowd, the exceptional Nikkalite Flexible Crystal Grade, Microprismatic Retroreflective Material from Rennicks UK, has been chosen for the conspicuity livery on the NEW VAG Financial Services, Skoda Scout Ambulance demonstrator.
The material kit, designed and produced by vehicle livery converters PVL UK and vehicle build carried out by Halls Electrical Limited, provides excellent day and night time visibility and is fully compliant to the current standards.
Rennicks Nikkalite® Flexible Crystal Grade
Nikkalite Flexible Crystal Grade, is very conspicuous providing early recognition of the vehicles position to other road users and is designed for use with emergency services vehicles.
The strong and flexible properties make it easy to install, then with AdvantEdge edge sealing, the livery has a 10 year life when converted, installed and maintained according to the Rennicks Nikkalite guidelines. Then at the end of life, the material can be quickly removed, making decommissioning a breeze.
The prisms within the material have been developed to provide optimum reflection. Each cm2 of the prism layer contains in excess of 5k micro-prisms accurately aligned delivering outstanding reflectivity at long and short distances as well as narrow and wide angle entrances ensuring drivers and pedestrians can see the approaching emergency services vehicle well in advance.
Nikkalite Flexible Crystal Grade is approved by the HOSDB for Battenburg livery and meets all the current standards.
Nikkalite materials are extensively used throughout the UK for Emergency Service & Chapter 8 requirements. Their prominent reflective properties and outstanding pigment ensure Nikkalite continue to be one of the leading retroreflective materials available on the vehicle livery market.
PVL UK, one of Rennicks ‘Gold Converters’, continue to use Nikkalite products because of the quality and outstanding performance.
Halls Electrical Limited confirmed the livery was quick and easy to install and the results were excellent.
The vehicle was on show at the NAPFM Exhibition, Telford, in June 2016 where it was a shining example of superb retroreflectivity and stood out from the crowd, which was what the client wanted.
