Nikkalite® Flexible Engineering Grade (FEG)

Nikkalite® Flexible Engineering Grade (FEG) is a flexible glass-beaded retroreflective sheeting that renders retroreflectivity during darkness. It is designed for use on emergency vehicles and fleet markings where application to riveted and corrugated surfaces may be required.

The material is highly resistant to extremes of hot, cold, dry and humid weathering conditions and vehicles liveried with FEG sheeting are attractive in appearance and highly visible during both day and night-time conditions.

When you work in potentially dangerous locations, you need visibility you can rely on. Nikkalite® Red Felxible Crystal Grade with Hi-S Cal® yellow is what you need. Especially effective during inclement weather and the twilight hours, Rennicks vehicle conspicuity products help keep you safe both day and night and it also give the best possible compliance to the Chapter 8 legislation.

For other emergency services vehicle types where the highest performing sheetings are not critical, we can now offer a NEW retroreflective sheeting- Nikkalite® 8594 Flexible Engineering Grade FEG fluorescent yellow green.

This is a mid-range conspicuity sheeting, consisiting of glass beads embedded within a transparent film that is bright, durable, flexible and impact resistant.

Nikkalite® 8594 FEG yellow green can be expected to have a useful working life of up to 5 Years.

Rennicks now offer two performance levels of Nikkalite® retroreflective sheetings for fleet managers to consider when specifying battenburg liveries:

• Nikkalite® 8594 mid-range conspicuity glass bead sheeting offering up to 5 Years performance
• High conspicuity microprismatic Flexible Crystal Grade sheeting offering 7 Years performance (compliant with HOSDB previously PSDB)
