Blackburn Rovers Football Club

Rennicks is proud to be supporting TheRichWorks.co.uk at a brand new regionally based event, kicking off in the North West.

Our Technical Services Manager, Trevor Wren will be presenting advancements in traffic sign design with the innovative Tourist Gateway Signs which combine the traditional brown tourist signs with a full colour, iconic photograph, digitally printed onto Rennicks Nikkalite Ultralite Retroreflective Sheeting.
The aim of the Conference is to bring together for discussion, four key areas affecting Local Authority budgets that are traditionally addressed individually.

– Streetworks
– Maintenance (including drainage, flooding & winter)
– Road Safety
– Regeneration, Planning & Design

A number of well respected speakers from the Public Sector, Private Consultancies and Government Organisations will be present to discuss the implications and impacts that each area has on the others.

The purpose for the event is to provide a Forum for Clients to share their challenges with Suppliers with a view to facilitating ideas for new product development, improved processes, cost efficiencies and safer procedures.

We want to demonstrate how small considerations can have a big impact and how together we can protect, improve and keep safe the roads whilst saving time, resources and lives. We will learn from the facts, address the challenges and work in partnership to identify solutions.

Speakers include:

– Barry Heaps, Chairman for Events Committee CIHT (North West Branch) & Managing Consultant at Oaklands Consulting Ltd
– Andy Bailey, Senior Drainage Engineer / Environmental Advisor, Highways Agency (Formerly Senior Technical Advisor for DfT)
– Brian Bailey, Director of Regeneration, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council
– Richard Goodwin, Technical Director, Capita Symonds Ltd
– George Lee, National Director, Road Safety Markings Association
– Will Britten, Principal Engineer, Network Planning, Blackpool Council
– Richard Nickson, ELGIN (North West) – Campbell Waddell, Business Development Manager, Findlay Irvine
– Trevor Wren, Technical Services Manager, Rennicks
